WHO WE ARE

Gizmo's Woof Chat Educational Series

We are the storytellers, puppeteer performers, educators, researchers and oceanographers, illustrators, and puppet makers. We are the leading digital artists and LED technology filmmakers bringing the characters from the screen to classrooms across the globe in this vitally important short-story educational series.

Gizmo's Woof Chat was created by children's author Suzanne Kline and puppet master and co-writer Scott Silson. The short episodes teach children about ocean conservation, global citizenship, friendship, diversity, balancing technology use, and fostering a growth mindset for youth.

The production is made possible with the support and vision of people like you—those who dedicate their lives to education, technology, children's mental health, research, and ocean conservation.

"Gizmo and friends bring innovative learning content to classrooms and homes— that kids will want to watch!"

~Suzanne Kline, Author and Creator, Gizmo's Woof Chat.

CORE VALUE 2

Builds Confidence

Stress, Jitters, Nerves. Whatever you call it, everyone gets a little stressed out now and then. Gizmo proves how to best manage the jitters while navigating the waves and facing challenges at school, play, or home.

Children will be more confident to face challenges after watching Gizmo's Woof Chat. The crew model what to do to prepare for surfing, playing sports, and interacting with their peers.

Gizmo reminds kids to take a pause, a few deep breaths, choose healthy food, and get plenty of rest to surf your best!

CORE VALUE 3

Navigating Peer Pressure

What happens when friends push your buttons and you're not comfortable? What about handling peer pressure and competition in school, at home, and while playing sports? In Gizmo's Woof Chat, children learn valuable strategies to help navigate these situations.

Kids learn by watching how the Woof Chat crew handles conflicts and solves problems together. Gizmo invites everyone to tune in and learn how Just to Surf IT! and its positive impact on maintaining and growing healthy relationships.
